I have been promising photos so here they are!
I'll start with the knitting...
I had a learning experience with this one. It is the "mother earth" bag and there was no gauge on the pattern. The crazy people just told me to use worsted weight yarn doubled and size 7 needles. Its like knitting cardboard. So I did some switching around and got a cute little shoulder bag for my efforts. There is still some yarn left that I could make a little top flap for the bag but I am not sure yet on that.
I also made a washcloth

Its pink, I don't like pink but it came with some other eBay yarn so I am using it to get it out of here. *stuffs it in the box for the abused women's shelter*

This too is pink and didn't have a gauge size listed. It was supposed to be a headband but turned out more like an earwarmer. Whatever it still works *tosses it in the box*

Also grandpa's b-day is fast approching so I have finally started his socks. I have less than 2 inches of ribbing done on the first one. I can so make them in time. >.>
They are gonna be "secret" red so we'll see how that goes.
Oh I also finally took some photos of the kitchen. However I am too lazy to make them blog pretty so you just get to see the knobs.
All the door/drawer pulls used to be...
After some paint they are now...
The whole kitchen was painted that color. Its banana whip yellow and really makes the kitchen look more "mine" and less late 70's early 80's fulgy.
Last but not least, the required cat photos. :)
The newest member of the family is Kwatro (aka four)
As you can see he has only three legs, we have no real idea what happened there as he was a feral kitty. We named him 4 as he is the 4th one and I liked it better than "Forest Gimp" as well as finding it amusing to name a 3 legged creature four.
He has been fitting in well so far
