Of course today for once is bright and sunny here but that just lulling you into a false sense of warmth. Of course we are having a heat wave with 14 degree (F) temps here, but there is already a winter weather advisory out for tonight already not to mention the travel advisory for all Thursday. :) I love living in northern Wisconsin.
It has been an productive knitting time though, the whole stash is still parked next to the sofa, yesterday was a sick day I couldn't even think of food without feeling very ill and therefore lived most of the day on water. Knitting time was broken up with photo shoots of the kitties, They are getting HUGE!
On with the photos now...
First the trainging sock I didn't do so good on taking "growing" photos as I was more worried about not messing the poor thing up too badly.

I didn't really like doing the toe close on this one and my cast on would have done well if someone wanted to slowly kill their foot with a limit on the blood flow. Thus my first sock is done it could be improved on, but no one was hurt in the making of it.

All stuffed and showing its form.
Then yesterday I was not feeling well and needed something that was not going to be too hard but not too easy either. So I made a baby cap. The colors are bright and fun and I thing I added an extra repeat or two when I should not have but either way it kept my mind on other things.

This is the most accurate for the main color, the trim is a navy blue. :D
Of course like all good knitters I have fur kids that need to get in on the action.
TidBit wanted to see what I was doing and make sure that camera thing was "safe."

This is the typical look I get when I point the camera at OldMan. When he holds still long enough to get a non-action photo.

The kids posed pretty for mommy.
Yes, TidBit has a bucket load of things on her collar.
Microchip ID, Rabies tag and Name & Phone tag.
Old Man has nothing on his, yet...

Oh and we can't forget the "freestyle" bag I was working on. found a hat pattern for wool ease thick and quick and used that as a starting point. This was created on size 13's using what I am assuming would be the magic loop thingy. The bottom is just some black acrylic that I had handy and would be easy to patch up if the need ever were to arise.
